Scott earned his BS in Chemistry from National Taiwan University. His undergraduate research on tracing Li-ion diffusion dynamics in solid-state batteries using X-ray techniques sparked his interest in light-matter interactions. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at UC Berkeley, where he focuses on entangled photon spectroscopy.

Outside the lab, he enjoys playing basketball and soccer, following a wide range of sports, and playing classical guitar.
